Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Flank steak, sliced thin
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 Bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 Carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 3 Green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Slice beef against the grain into thin strips and toss with cornstarch.
  2. Mix soy sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, and brown sugar to make the sauce.
  3. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat with vegetable oil.
  4. Sear beef strips for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot to the wok. Stir fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Return beef to wok and pour in the sauce. Toss everything together for 1 minute.
  8. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately over rice.
