Classic Beef Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 Brioche burger buns
  • 4 Cheddar cheese slices
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 4 Tomato slices
  • 4 Red onion slices
  • 8 Pickles
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and gently form into patties, making a slight indent in the center.
  3. Season both sides of each patty with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
  5. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  6. Toast brioche buns on the grill for 30 seconds.
  7. Mix ketchup and mayonnaise to make burger sauce.
  8. Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, patty, and sauce.
