Ingredients
- 8 oz (225 g) Linguine or spaghetti
- 10 cloves Garlic cloves, finely minced
- 5 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp Fresh chives, chopped
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
- to taste Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cook the noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to combine. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the garlic sauce.
- Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter, Parmesan cheese, and a splash of pasta water. Toss until the sauce is glossy and clings to the noodles.
- Season with red pepper flakes, chives, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately in warm bowls.
