Garlic Butter Shrimp

Plump shrimp seared in a fragrant garlic butter sauce with white wine, lemon, and fresh parsley. Ready in under 15 minutes and elegant enough for entertaining.

Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 5 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Dry white wine
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 3 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Deglaze with white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
  5. Return the shrimp to the pan, toss in the sauce, and scatter with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
